Autism Friendly Screening

How to Train your Dragon 2 will be the film for the next Autism-Friendly screening at Movie House City Side and Coleraine on Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd June at 11.00am.

Autism-friendly screenings are film screenings especially for people on the autism spectrum and their families, friends and carers. Some people with autism are sensitive to sound and light and they can find going to the cinema difficult.

Based on parent feedback, we have opted to show this in 2D rather than 3D.

During Autism-Friendly Screenings low lights are left on in the auditorium and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. It is fine for customers to move around, make noise or take a break during the film.

Normal ticket prices apply – as the screening takes place before noon, the £3.50 per head price applies. Carers must have a CEA Card if they wish to be admitted free. Parking at Cityside Mall and Jet Centre is free.
